So what if there's zero plot? If you want endless gunfire and explosions, this is one of the all-timers. Your standard "bang, you're dead" stuff puts me to sleep, but this film is so inventive with it's carnage, I always stay glued. A metal cocaine straw up a girl's nose; U.S. convoy-down-the-pants with shots fired; girl abducted and held outside a pick-up truck window!; grenade into a classic cadillac convertible; and the greatest scene of the film, Chuck strapping a bomb to a city council official in Kirkuk and saying, "Ya lose this?", followed by BANG!

The mall truck crash is of big note, done really well. And this still holds the mark for most dead according to movie scholars, 185 dead bodies. Which is just ahead of "American Ninja"'s 121, which makes for one hell of a double-bill.

In the past 18 months, 12,000 Iraqi civilians were killed, not including 100,000 already killed in the Invasion before we started counting dead Iraqi civilians.
